Shibari Studio Event-Bubbles & Berries Boudoir, Buffalo NY

In 2021 we decided to open up our studio space to host creative and fun event nights. We started with a booty painting class which was a huge success, which we plan on doing again. Due to covid spikes we had to hold off a bit from planning our next studio event. I knew I wanted our second event to be something for Every.Body and for it to explore the world of Kink. We strive at Bubbles & Berries Boudoir to create a sex positive safe space for all, so adding in a Shibari 101 Event night just made sense.

As a Sex positive and kinky person myself I wanted to bring the world of Shibari to the masses and help everyone learn more about this amazing art form.

As a special something for each guest we gave some goodie bag items! A special thank you goes out to Buffalo Distilling for providing little sample bottles and tasting room passes, Primrose Path Boutique for the kinky pins and discount codes, and our boutique threw in some promo codes as well as a credit towards product from a boudoir session with us.

Upon my research I came across a beautiful young black woman, Mari or the @thetantricmystic. We had a meeting to discuss our vision for the workshop and her spirit just shined so bright! Her love of the art form, sex positive points of view, challenges with being a black woman in the BDSM and Kink community, truly made us a perfect match. I knew I wanted to support her instantly and she said the exact same.

As always my hubby Dylan was a huge support and volunteered to be the rope bunny for the evening!

I gave some opening remarks and introduced our instructor to everyone. Mari led everyone in a grounding practice to get everyone present in their bodies and then explained a few different view points about Shibari. Then the fun began and everyone got to experiment with two different ties. It was so much fun walking around to help everyone and see them switching on and off with who was tying up who.

This truly was an evening to remember. Everyone had a blast and we can't wait to do this event again as well as other kink inspire nights. Stay on the look out in our social media to see what our next event night will be! Join our private Facebook group as we always release tickets first to our special friends in our group!

Spooky Season 2020-Boudoir Witch Shoot-Buffalo NY

For as long as I have been a boudoir photographer, I have always been interested in occult lifestyle. I love spooky anything, withes, spells, tarot, magic....all of it. For years now I have been wanting to do an outdoor boudoir shoot that was styled in this way. A few things always held me back, location, using lighting techniques I wasn’t used to, and having the right group of people. Well fast forward to 2020 and I have finally put it all together. My very dear friend Nicci and her partner Jonathan have property out in Lyndonville NY that is just amazing. As for lighting my hubby Dylan Buyskes of Onion Studio, Inc. offered to help me with using his Einstein lights with the Paul C Buff modifiers on them. Lastly the people, over the past year I have met some amazing humans, ones that align with my true self and what I believe in. They are supportive, loving and down to get witchy....

In this first series there was so much involved. This location had an amazing stone table that we set up as an alter. A good friend of mine Will provided us with a lot of the items to put on the alter, plus a lot of other items provided by our ladies on the shoot. These first few shots are of my dear friends Mary and Thea. Mary I have known for many years now through dance, we have become very close over the last few years as our interests in energy work, herbal medicine, love, and so much more has grown. Thea is a newer friend to me, but it doesn’t feel that way....Thea was a dance student of mine and I knew right away we would become friends. Thea makes beautiful malas, you can check her IG out @wildrose.creations.

Every female on this shoot is highly empathic sometimes to a fault, so you can imagine what our energy vibrations were like that day!!!

The last of us I’ll put into one group. So next we have Jay. I have known Jay for years again through dance, but she showed back up into my life last year and has been a part of it ever since. She a very talented aerialist and dancer, I asked her to be a part of this shoot because she is highly attuned with other dimensions like I am.

Next up is Nicci. So Nicci and I met spontaneously and had an instant connection, we have so much in common it’s scary and it feels like we have known each other for ever maybe even in past lives. Nicci has such a beautiful and unique look about her, I knew she would be stunning for this shoot. Also funny story is that our paths have crossed sooo many times with out ever meeting until we were meant to. Plus she was ok with us dripping hot red wax on her, I would say she was a perfect fit for this shoot!

The last person to introduce is Bethany. I don’t even really have words to describe what Bethany means to me. I met Bethany October last year at a spiritual event and again it was an instant knowing and connection. Bethany has not only been a friend, but a spiritual advisor, a tarot mentor, and so much more.

Yes yes I know I am in these photos, but I just had to be, I love all things witchy remember.....I couldn’t pass up a chance to have my hubby shoot me for some solo shots and with my girl Nicci.

This next location was a set up for tarot. I have been on a journey of learning tarot over the past year and a half, I have found it to be extremely comforting and yet harsh at times as well. We set up our tarot alter on this stone grinding wheel with mix of items from Will and the ladies from the shoot. Bethany has read tarot cards for me a few times now and I just love the way she is able to read into them and me. So I wanted to capture that mystical feeling with Mary. Also Bethany had ideas for some individuals incorporating the goddess Persephone.

This next location was awesome, a creepy stone house in the middle of the woods.....Dylan helped me setup lighting for this one. We used gelled light inside the building with the fog machine and additional light on the group outside. He was very patient with me during all of this especially when I kept wanting to be in the pictures lol.

In true witch fashion, for helping me with all of this, I had him be our sacrifice for a few of the images! He did great and I have to say I thought it was pretty hot.

There were so many cool locations that I just had to try and get as many cool shots as possible. When I saw this super strange tree cluster area I knew it would be a perfect spot for a levitation photo.

This tiny white building was a spot I was also obsessed with, I knew I wanted each lady standing on these logs. Which don’t get me wrong I love the way these images turned out but moving old logs around is not for the faint of heart, poor Jonathan got a few stings from some nasty wasps.

By this point it was starting to get dark but there were two more ideas we wanted to play out....first was the coffin house, well that’s what I called it anyways. Again, Dylan helped me with my vision of creating a spooky lighting setup and it worked flawlessly.

Mary had this killer feathered top and skirt so I wanted to make her seem like the queen of the spooky babes.

By the time we got to our very last setup it was basically dark out, but I really wanted to get these last few images of my coven to just close out this amazing shoot. Every one did so amazing, everyone in this shoot has been photographed by me on their own before so being in a group for them was new. However this was Nicci’s first time ever being photographed by me in any way so I wanted to give her huge props for stepping outside of her comfort zone in a group setting like this.

I feel so honored and blessed to be able to create such cool imagery for a living and be sounding by the most loving and supportive people I know. Here are a few behind the scenes or (BTS) of some of our setups!

Want to create your own themed shoot. Contact us for more details about how to make it happen!

Repeat Clients = Killer Couples Boudoir - Buffalo, NY

I have to say, 2020 has been one of the weirdest and most difficult years of my life, as I am sure it has been for so many people. Running two businesses that are our sole source of income during these difficult times has been very trying but so rewarding to say the least. All of my clients were so wonderful and supportive during the beginning of the Covid crisis. When my past client Jill reached out that she wanted to do a couples boudoir session with her hubby I was beyond excited.

Couples boudoir is one of my most favorite things to photograph. While I love to help women feel empowered, there is just something about doing that for two humans at the same time that just lights my fire!

Jill and Adam are so damn cute together, they are sweet, funny and there is just so much chemistry between them. I wanted to start their session out with a little fun. So I had them do a little thumb wrestling war, tell each other about their idea for the perfect day, and hum a little tune for the other to guess. They did great and had a blast in the mean time....then things started to heat up a bit and I had them work into poses to tease each other and build the fire.

Adam had the cute idea of wanting to see Jill in his fav band T-Shirt! So we put them in their casual lounge wear to have a little fun in and under the sheets!

When couples come in for their sessions we want to make sure they each feel special. Since Jill had a solo shoot with us before we did a few individuals of her with Adams fav Jersey, then we took a bit more time to focus on just Adam, so he would have a chance to feel strong and sexy.

The next two sets were so amazing...Jill & Adam got fancy and then slowly stripped down to something a bit more sensual. I will let the images speak for themselves here!

So at the end of a lot of our sessions we ask our clients if they want to hop in our shower set to close out the session! Jill & Adam were all about it! What a way to end the session!!

Jill & Adam decided to add on a video package to their session. We love when clients decide to go with this add on. They picked out their favorite song, one that was special to them. Dylan our videographer of Bubbles & Berries Boudoir created a sensual and seductive piece for them to have forever!

Virtual Boudoir Sessions - Buffalo, NY

We all know that being in lock down this long has had a major affect on all of us. We wanted to get creative and try something new. So we have launched virtual boudoir sessions during lockdown. The first session I did was with my hubby Dylan Buyskes, I was in the studio and he was in the house, we used FaceTime and Zoom to compare. Zoom worked out to be much cleaner for us.

One of the hardest things for me was that I am so used to showing my clients the poses and then coaching them into it, that over virtual it is pretty much impossible. We had to take things a lot slower and I fumbled a lot with my words.

My next session was with our associate photographer Tessa, in Nashville TN. Tessa knew how to work with my poses but it was still tricky to get it all just right.

First we FaceTimed and Tessa walked me around so we could decide on the best locations to use. Next, her boyfriend Jeff was willing to help and be our human tripod, which was a lot of fun!!!

Here is a little BTS (behind the scenes) Video Snippet of me coaching Tessa.

Then I got to have an awesome experience with Taylor Oakes, she is a photographer based in Toronto, CA. She did a live Facebook video on a group for Photographers called Do More Photographers. She went through her own posing flow for this one and we were able to do screen captures and our own edits to use the images. She is incredibly talented and a super cool human.

Our most recent session was with my beautiful dancer friend Tessa. She lives in Honolulu, Hawaii. We met back in 2018. I couldn't wait to do a virtual session with her, she is so sweet and stunning! I have included some of our behind the scenes pictures too, like when the kitty decided she wanted to be in on it and our cute little selfie after!

Here are is the list of charities that we donated to!

Our Intimate Approach = Trust, Boudoir - Buffalo, NY

Women to me are fascinating creatures. This is one of the many reasons I felt the need to be a boudoir photographer. What amazes me is how quickly we as women forget that we are fascinating and start to view ourselves as one dimension…whatever it is you see in the mirror that day.

Over the past 9 years in business we have made it our mission to help clients bring out all of these other hidden dimensions. Whether it’s the beautiful simile when she laughs, the curves from her waist to her booty, or the gripping of her fingertips into the sheets in the bedroom.

We as female boudoir photographers realize that getting half naked in front of anyone can be a bit daunting, so we decided to make our approach to capturing that intimacy very vulnerable on our end and in turn this creates trust.

Before your boudoir session with us starts we will talk to you about our approach with clients. We will show you ways to relax and even ways to remind you to breath (trust us you may forget).

Most people are not comfortable in front of the camera and we totally get that. This is why we have created a unique experience where we will show you every pose and coach you the entire way. We will guide your body, hands, shape to create the most flattering angles, and coach you through a series of different expressions. Eye contact can be extremely sexy but also not always necessary, eyes engaging with your own body line can be extremely flattering and leave a bit of mystery a photograph. This intimate approach allows us to create a trust bond like no other.

Our promise to you is to bring out all of the parts of you that make you so unique, the laugh you have with your bestie, the subtle smile you give your partner when your thinking something naughty, and all of the other parts that make you fascinating.
